Alex Friend is a film editor with a decade of experience working in documentary. His work has been featured on HBO, Showtime, BET, YouTube Originals, and in film festivals like Tribeca, DOC NYC, and Sundance.

Alex has also served as a guest lecturer at the Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema at Brooklyn College. He is currently lead editing FAULT LINES, a feature documentary on the housing crisis in San Francisco, CA. Alex is currently based in Brooklyn, NY.
